BALLARD CLASS OF 1965 NEWSLETTER #1

Hello Beavers!!

This is the very first Newsletter written for our Website.  I am so excited about finally getting a Website produced as I have wanted it for a very long time. I have some great ideas and plans on how to use our Website in order to share with you pictures, videos, information that I have or will have.  I have tried different venues in order to encourage our 1965 Classmates from Ballard to keep in touch and interact with each other as your time and energy permits.

As you view our Website, you will see that it is about our class not just a group here and a group there.  I would like to share my perspective of our class as a 900 Piece Puzzle since there were about that many of us at one point or another.  Each piece makes up a part of our puzzle; as IF one piece is missing than no matter how many pieces are there, that ONE stands out and our puzzle is not complete.  There may be parts of our puzzle that may have more focus than other parts, which really happens when an artist is painting a picture, however without the border, there would be no border and without the background, there would not be a focus that the artist wants to highlight.

I am just saying that how I view our class as a WHOLE is everyone is important and has value and has his or her place; of which I have believed and have promoted in my endurances I have experienced working with the reunions I have been part of.  Therefore, our Website will promote our Ballard Class of 1965 as a Class full of everyone who has been part in making our years together a blessing during those three years at Ballard as well as the years after graduation; with each classmate bringing to the table their lives explored and experiences rendered.  

I invite you all to be a part and join our Ballard Class of 1965 Website by filling out the forms needed in order to include you and inform you of the present and future events, plans, news!  This Website has no links to any other venue of sort except to my Ballard Facebook site which I started years ago that is exclusive to our Ballard Class of 1965 only; it is under my name Jackie Peterson Huey.  You are welcome to befriend me and join with others from our class if you like.

There is a page available to you as a member to be able to write to me about anything that you see relevant to our Ballard Class of 1965.  Any other subjects would not be appropriate so I will set those boundaries.  I would love to hear from you encouragement and support of this and your responses to the great class we have that our Website is reflecting.  I will have pictures posted from the past of our Classmates as they are gathered together bringing on a memory of good times; you are welcome to submit yours to be published as well.
